Like most organizations on campus, JUST relies on its talented and diverse team to grow and succeed. However, unlike many other student organizations, JUST must adhere to strict editing and publication deadlines in order to publish a journal in under 4 months each semester. Therefore, we expect that all students interested in joining JUST are willing to dedicate a significant amount of time and effort to their position(s).
All JUST members are expected to attend all meetings throughout the semester. There are at least 2 scheduled meetings every month.
Executive Board Meetings
Only Executive Board members are required to attend the Executive Board Meetings which are held once/twice a month. These meetings serve as important opportunities for the leadership of JUST to gather and discuss key organizatonal developments.
Committee Meetings are held at least twice a month (depending on which committee and individual responsibilities) and are lead by the respective Executive(s) of the committee. The 4 committees of JUST are: Design, Marketing, Finances and the Editorial Board.
JUST Organizational Meetings
JUST Organizational Meetings are held once occasionally at the beginning of each month. These meetings serve to bring together all members of the organization and catalyze interactions among different committees.
